New “Toy Making” Class at the Creativity Shell!
In our continued effort to find creative ways to educate and inspire the next generation of makers, the Creativity Shell is excited to announce the addition of a full time “Toy Making” class!
Students in this class will learn to make toys using fabric, wood, metal, screws, paint, springs and other unique items!
Although this class is about making toys, students will get to use toys to create stop-motion videos, they will get to utilize design/drawing skills to create new toy concepts and they will also learn to create a business plan for their toys as well as marketing/sales skills.
Students in this class will also work on a philanthropy project at the end of the semester where they will make a special toy to donate to other children in need.
The Toy Making class will be held on Tuesday’s from 5PM – 6PM.
