Enchanted Forest Sewing/Textile Arts Camp!
Dates: June 5 – 9
What kind of magical creatures would you expect to find in an enchanted forest? Join us for Enchanted Forest Camp and we will teach you how to make them! This week we will be making bug bags, flower rugs, magic wands, pixie skirts, pixie hats, fairy dust and more!
** At the end of camp on Friday, parents and siblings are invited for an enchanted forest tea party and fashion show for students to showcase the designs they made at camp.

Storybook Costumes and Accessories Camp!
Dates: July 17 – 21
Do you have a favorite storybook? Have you ever wanted to dress up like one of the characters or items in that book? Join us at Story Book Camp for a week of reading and costume making fun! Some popular book characters and accessories we will be making will come from Dr. Suess, Pete the Cat, James and the Giant Peach, Stick Dog/Cat.
** We will also have a special Houston author visit us on Thursday to read us her new book and help us make one of the costumes from that book!

International Textiles and Accessories Camp!
Dates: June 19 – 23
Please join us at the Creativity Shell for a week of sewing/textile arts from around the world. Students will learn to dye fabrics using Indonesian batik dyeing techniques, learn the art of couture sewing from its origins in France, learn to make African sarongs and other costumes from around the world!
**On Friday after camp, parents and siblings are welcome to join us for some international foods and a mini fashion show where students can showcase the designs they created during the week.
** This camp will be open only to Girl Scouts so come and sew with some old and new Girl Scout friends!

Superheroes Sewing & Accessories Camp!

Who is your favorite Super Hero? Do you ever wonder why they have all the awesome accessories they have such as capes and masks? At Superhero camp, you will learn how to make many of the amazing accessories your superhero wears such as capes, masks, tights, belts, vaporizing laser beams and more!
** On Friday after camp, parents can join us for a superhero themed party where students will wear their superhero costumes and highlight some of the awesome things they designed into them!

Anime Camp!
Dates: July 10 – 14
Do you love Anime? Do you like to dress up in Anime costumes? Come and spend a week at the Creativity Shell and we will teach you how to make some of your favorite Anime costumes! During the week, we will learn to sew skirts, jackets, pants, capes, accessories, wigs and more!
** At the end of the week, students will dress up in their costumes for a fun photo shoot!

We are combining our love of hats and jewelry into one fantastic camp! This camp is great for girls and boys and is designed to strengthen fine motor skills, as students are busy creating.

Monday: Cowboy hats.
Tuesday: Summer fabric hats and/or caps.
Wednesday: Beads, beads beads! Students will make beaded bracelets and necklaces.
Thursday: Leather bracelets and necklaces.
Friday: Strings and Wires. Students will learn how to tie different knots and spin wire to create jewelry.

Please join us at the Creativity Shell for a week of Mixed Media Art.
Students will learn to paint of canvas using a variety of techniques, students will use free motion embroidery to draw on fabrics, create with oil based pastel colors, use watercolor paint, mosaic tile art, markers and more.

** This camp is NOT a create by numbers camp. Students will receive a blank canvas each day and will be challenged to use their creativity to turn it into a masterpiece.

Dolls, Trolls and Toys Camp!
Dates: July 31- August 4

Do your kids know how to make their own toys? Join us for Dolls, Trolls and Toys camp where kids will learn to sew their own toys!

Monday: Cat/Dog/Elephant/Owl stuffed toys.

Tuesday: Male/Female Dolls with needle felt hair and painted or embroidered faces.

Wednesday: Clothing/Accessories for male/female dolls. (make as many items as you can!)

Thursday: Trolls!

Friday: Wooden Dolls/Totoro Terrariums

It’s not too early to start getting ready for the Renaissance Festival! Students will learn to make costume and accessory items such as pants, corsets, dresses, shirts and other Renaissance inspired items!
** At the end of camp on Friday, students will get to dress up in their costumes and have a mini fashion show for their siblings and family members!
