The Creativity Shell offers both Sewing/Art and Cooking classes for homeschool students!
The Creativity Shell is an organization that teaches sewing/textile arts and other creative trades to children in their private studios, schools, community centers, libraries as well as shelters that rescue children from homelessness and human trafficking. Their programs are designed to educate and inspire children while teaching essential life and practical skills at the same time.
During the Fall 2022 Semester, students will have the opportunity to learn:
* Sewing/textile arts
* Screen printing
* Wood working
* Industrial Design
* Fabric dyeing
* Embroidery Arts
* Cosplay/Costuming & More!
* If your child has taken this class before, they will be working on new projects.
Class projects are based on the skill level of the students in the class. We use sewing/textile arts to strengthen fine motor skills, patience and coping before we dive into more difficult projects/arts. Our classes are also designed to teach students practical skills such as problem solving, coping, decision making, reducing the need for instant gratification and being proud of the things you make!
