Creativity Shell launches Textile Art class for kids!

(Kingwood, TX) Though it can be difficult to define, textile arts are arts and crafts that use plant, animal, or synthetic fibers to construct practical or decorative objects (Wikipedia).

The new textile arts class for kids at the Creativity Shell will teach children different elements of making textile art pieces. Students will learn to make and create with hand embroidery, machine embroidery, free motion embroidering, rug hooking, cross-stitching, appliqué work and more! This class is designed to help students use fibers as their medium to create wearable and gallery art.

Classes will be held weekly on Thursdays from 5PM – 6PM.

Cost: $25/class or $80 a month with a monthly makers pass
