Creativity Shell Mobile Sewing/Art Programs Return to Humble ISD Schools!

The Creativity Shell mobile sewing/textile arts program will be returning to select Humble ISD schools for the Fall 2021 semester.

For those of you who have not heard about the Creativity Shell, they are a Houston nonprofit organization that teaches classes such as sewing/textile arts, cooking, building and other creative trades to students in their private studios, libraries, schools, ABA therapy centers, the juvenile justice system as well as shelters that rescue children from homelessness and human trafficking.  All of their classes are designed to teach children essential life and practical skills.

Mobile sewing/textile arts programs are held in their mobile studios (Jerry and/or Sherry the Busses) at Atascocita Springs, the Groves Elementary, Fall Creek Elementary and Eagle Springs Elementary schools.  Classes are held afterschool and the Busses are parked on the school grounds for classes.

Classes are held from 3:30PM – 4:30PM or 4:45 – 5:45PM.  For the 3:30PM class,  students can come to class directly after-school. Students also do NOT need to go to the actual school to register in the program.
