Creativity Shell hosts FREE Workshops for students affected by Hurricane Harvey!
On Wednesday August 30th and Thursday August 31st, the Creativity Shell will be hosting FREE workshops for students affected by Hurricane Harvey.
This will be a great way for students to receive some creative therapy and help out their neighbors at the same time.
On Wednesday, students will be making hurricane bags. These bags will be donated to local shelters and will be filled with art supplies and toiletries that will be distributed to children.
On Thursday, students will be making blankets! Blankets will also be distributed to local shelters for children displaced by the hurricane.
These workshops are Free, but registration is required. If you know someone who has been affected by the hurricane but is unable to register, (with their permission) please register their children.
We are also looking for art supplies such as crayons, coloring books as well as sensory supplies such as fidget spinners and autism related toys that we can use to fill these bags. If you have any items to donate, please drop them off at our studio located at 1570 Kingwood Drive, Kingwood, TC 77339.
