Creativity Shell partners with the Cerebration Company to offer Computer Coding Classes for Kids!
In our continued effort to find creative ways to educate and inspire the next generation of makers, the Creativity Shell is partnering with the Cerebration Company to offer Computer Coding Classes for kids!
The Cerebration Company is the brainchild of Purnima Nanayakkara.
Purnima has 20 years of experience in the IT industry as a developer, business analyst and project manager. She has a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics as well as an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. She is interested in elementary education in STEM fields and is the founder of The Cerebration Company LLC. The Cerebration Company was established in 2017 to educate kids on software design and coding languages. Purnima is interested teaching the creative aspects of coding to kids such as game design and animation.
The 8-week computer-coding program will be held on Tuesday’s (Starting on October 3, 2017) from 12:30PM – 2:30PM at the Creativity Shell studio in Kingwood. Students will spend the 1st hour of the class learning different coding techniques and will spend the 2nd hour applying techniques learned to applications.
Computer Coding classes are good for students 6+.
